The Science of Racing is unique. Founded in 2006 as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, we are a national interactive touring exhibit that promotes science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) through auto racing to thousands of young people at racing events, middle/high schools, and through grassroots outreach. We are creating deep, year-round relationships through our interactive website and heightened visibility by teaming up with professional racing teams. Our founder, Reakha Janus, has personal experience with the tragedies that can grow out of disaffected, disassociated youth. It is her personal commitment to improving the lives of students - who might otherwise drop out of school, or slide through a life of underachievement – that sparked the creation of the Science of Racing.
